A warm fuzzy feeling
In the past, Subtitle Tools relied on ads to pay the bills.
The site has been completely free of ads and third-party tracking cookies since december 2023.
This has been made possible by the generous support from our premium users.
Having no ads means less revenue for the site, but it also means a faster, cleaner and safer website for all users.
It also means your data isn't being handed over to big advertisers like Google or Facebook.
With your support I can keep this website ad-free for everyone.
Some tools on the site have settings, the SRT cleaner tool for example.
When you open the tool and you don't have premium, the settings will always be set to default values.
If you have premium, all tools will remember the settings you selected the last time you used the tool.
This can be a real time-saver if you frequently use tools with settings.
By default, files you download will have [SubtitleTools.com] at the front of their file name.
The main reason for this watermark is so that files you upload and files you download don't have the same name.
You can manually remove the file name watermark by renaming the file after you download it.
This watermark in the file name is the only watermark that Subtitle Tools adds.
No watermarks are added to the contents of your subtitle files.
Premium users have the option of changing the file name watermark to something shorter or to remove it entirely.
